We collect the minimum we need to make Posture Ease useful, encrypt everything, and never sell or share your data with advertisers. This page explains exactly what that looks like.

The short version
- Your posture data stays on your device and in your encrypted cloud backup. Only you can read it.
- We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- You can export everything or delete your account from inside the app at any time.
- We use trusted infrastructure partners (AWS in ap-south-1 Mumbai) bound by data processing agreements.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email, password hash, and the country you signed up from.
Device data: posture events (angle samples, timestamps), battery level, firmware version, and pairing identifiers.
App usage: anonymous crash reports and feature usage so we can improve PE Connect. You can opt out from Settings → Privacy.
Order data: billing details, shipping address, and order history when you preorder or buy.
How we use it
- To run your account, ship your device, and deliver app features like streaks, nudges, and coaching.
- To respond to support requests and warranty claims.
- To send order-related emails and the occasional product update — never marketing without consent.
- To improve the product through anonymised, aggregated insights.
Where it lives
All cloud data is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3) on AWS in Mumbai (ap-south-1). Backups are encrypted with separate keys.
Posture data is additionally end-to-end encrypted, even our engineers cannot read it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR, you can:
- Request a copy of all your data (we export it as JSON within 7 days).
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and all associated data, permanently, within 30 days.
- Withdraw consent for marketing or analytics any time.

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will email registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The current version is always live at this URL with a "Last updated" date.
